Singto closed his eyes hoping peace would come to him. Well, he wasn't expecting much.
Really.
How could he when the past week had been nothing but chaotic?
From his sister's sudden engagement to a no-good young master to Kao's enrollment to pole dancing classes.
Yup. Pole dancing.
No wonder Pete looked as tired as his parents.
To a stranger's point of view, there is nothing wrong with Serra tying the knot. Not when the said groom was from a good family and she is of marriageable age. But for his parents and everyone else's who knew his sister's undiminished interest towards Krist, there was more to it.
As for Kao. . . Well, Kao will always be Kao.
Crazy.
Singto wasn't really bothered by his friend's odd interest. Unlike Pete who worried over it day and nigth. He was actually grateful especially when his Krist started accompanying Kao. His friend's new interest would keep his husband busy.
Bourbon in hand, Singto didn't bother turning the lights on. What was the point when he'd be all alone in his royal chambers?
The second his back hit the couch, his thoughts ran a thousand miles per second.
From crown prince, to lowly commoner, to royal adviser, and now . . . King.
He married the love of his life for no more than a year and now he could barely spend time to see the apple of his eyes. If his sister would just get her head out of the gutter, his situation wouldn't be so stressful. Krist wouldn't be keeping his distance from the palace.
And he wouldn't be alone tonight wih a glass of bourbon as his companion.
Drinking his misery away, a slow music started playing. Singto paid it no mind thinking that the balcony's open and it was from outside.
The way you look at me is like an illusion
By the swimming pool your figure looks like a line
The feeling of warmth spreads out
How many times at midnight will I drink to my heart's content
Without any intention to chase or to stop?
Warmth envelops me
When someone started singing and footsteps made their way towards him, he finally opened his eyes.
All I wanna do is fool around
My heart is beating fast
From sunset to the early morning to moonlight
I hold you till dawn
With nothing but a white bathrobe and black boxers, Krist slowly sang his way towards him.
You kiss me gently
It drives me crazy
The whole atmosphere is getting hotter
Dangerous and charming
I really wanna dance tonight
Feel a little bit dangerous
I don't feel safe
Be my lover
I know you want it
It was. . . Sexy. Damn if he doesn't want it!
Hips swaying, Krist stopped a few inches from him and sang in a sultry voice. Eyes coyly blinking at him while moving along to the music-making his robe slip from one shoulder to another.
You dropped down onto the human world
You're the first choice that Cupid has chosen for me
I lean on my pillow
Ah, light shines down on your angelic face
Ah, this feeling is really too dangerous
Can you be a little bit gentler towards me?
I don't want to take you on a dangerous journey
When he couldn't take the teasing, Singto placed his glass down. He felt the younger male slightly tremble when his arms went around his barely clothed waist and grinded against his back.
All I wanna do is fool around
My heart is beating fast
From sunset to the early morning to moonlight
I hold you till dawn
Grinding back against his hardness, Krist looked back at him with dreamy eyes. Lips red, inviting him to taste.
You kiss me gently
It drives me crazy
The whole atmosphere is getting hotter
Dangerous and charming
I really wanna dance tonight
Feel a little bit dangerous, ah
I don't feel safe
Be my lover
I know you want it
The song wasn't over. Cai Xukun's Lover had a third stanza in it but Singto couldn't wait.
Krist has to make another performance to finish the song later on.
A loud gasp filled the room when he tore the white bathrobe off the younger male. Without another word, his black boxer was dragged down-exposing his ass.
"Fuck!"
Singto's growl answered his lover's curse. There was no second wasted as he pulled out an inch before thrusting his length inside the clenching tightness.
"Too deep. Annnhhhnn aaahhhh Sing. . . Ahhh!"
Ravenous, his lips suckled at his husband's exposed nape and shoulders. Sobs and cries of lustful pleasure stumbled one after another from Krist's luscious lips as the younger male pled for more. Hips swaying in a more provocative timbre, Singto was left with no choice but to respond to his siren's call.
"You know I really want it." He whispered against Krist's red ear.
Hips sore, Krist forced himself to get up from the soft bed cushioning his body. His insides were aching from being used all night long but his excitement to see Singto overshadowed his discomfort.
It had been more than couple of weeks since they last saw each other.
He got ready as quickly as he could and made his way to his husband's office. Humming all the way.
The thought of seeing Singto and repeating last night's activities made everything around him bright and shiny.
"Krist?"
His happy stride stopped for a couple of seconds. When he tried to disregard the woman calling out to him, his sister-in-law went ahead and held his arm.
"Krist!"
The undisguised glow on her face upon seeing him made the younger male shudder.
What the hell did he do to make Serra so obsessed with him?
Light tears wet her eyes. "I knew you'd be back."
His body became immobile when she hugged him all of a sudden. "There's nothing for you to worry now that we're together again. We can take the throne and I can take back my engagement wi-"
The fuck!?
"Serra I'm not here for you."
For a second, the princess froze before she got back her senses. "What do you mean by that? Stop kidding around, Krist. We both know how much you love me. See, you came back for me."
He sighed in exasperation.
"This farce of a marriage between you and my broth-"
"My marriage is not a farce! I married Singto because I love him!"
Serra rolled her eyes at him. "We both know the truth."
Angry at her words, he unhesitatingly removed her hands off him and distanced himself.
"Krist-"
"Singto and I love each other. We've been married for more than a year." He raised his left hand. "I'm wearing his ring and we'll be having a child of our own in the near future. You should find your own happiness too, Serra."
The young woman vehemently shook her head. There was a manic glint in her eyes when she tried to reach for him but before she could get her paws on him, two guards stopped her.
A warm arm wrapped itself around Krist's waist at the same time his head was tilted up. "Are you hurt?"
An indulgent smile instantly appeared on his face- the stress of seeing Serra again unquestionably vanished.
"I'm perfect."
There was no disguise on as to how relieved Singto was at his response. His husband knew the involuntary resentment he felt towards his sister. In fact, everyone knew how he loathed Serra and what she had done to get him and the throne.
"What are you doing here?"
Krist frowned at the female's rudeness towards her brother. He was about to hotly put her in her rightful place when Singto protectively tightened the arm around his waist. There was no mistaking the possessiveness of his action.
Plastered next to his husband's body, he couldn't help but inhale the other male's comforting scent. Images of their vigorous exercise last night flashed before him.
He could feel the heat from the arm holding him- could remember the tangy taste of the bronze skin he nipped all night long.
Dazed, Krist's body heated up at the sheer memory of being held by his husband. His ears were bright red upon remembering how he begged for more, more so when he recalled how Singto responded to his pleas.
"Krist is my husband and this is the hallway to my office." Singto frowned at his sister. "I should be asking why you are here Serra."
For more than a handful of seconds, the siblings unyieldingly glared at each other. The tension in the air was so thick it was almost suffocating.
"Don't think you've won, Singto." The former crown princess finally broke the silence with haughty words.
"Whatever do you mean? I don't recall engaging in any games against you."
Krist thought that his husband's response would finally put an end to this unwanted confrontation but he was wrong.
"Don't you feel any guilt for taking your sister's fiancé from her? I wonder how you sleep at night knowing how miserable I am without Krist."
At the corner of his eye, he noticed some guards sharing a confused look among themselves. Such reaction was expected with the way Serra positioned her version of their story. Not liking that Singto was questioned, he stepped forward.
"Do I look like an immobile toy to be taken? As far as I can remember, I'm a perfectly functional human being who can decide for himself." Krist firmly patted his chest for emphasis. "It was my decision to be with your brother. No one else made the choice for me! So, stop misleading people because I am Singto's and he is mine!"
His mood plummeted all the way to the ground just by facing his 'sister-in-law'. Gone were the bright and dazzling filter earlier.
"I don't feel so good now." Krist dramatically leaned against the older male behind him. "Send me back?"
The way his long lashes covered the underlying mischief in his eyes at the request didn't elude his husband who wordlessly lifted him up and left the gapping princess and the astounded guards.
He wants his good mood back.
