Nervous as hell, Krist played with the hem of his shirt.
From across the room, Singto quietly signed a document without sparing him a glance.
He can do this.
He must do this!
With a practiced cough, Krist called his fiancée attention. "Are you busy?"
The older male placed his pen down. "Do you need something?"
Thoughts wrecked, Krist bit his lower lip. He can't simply say he wanted to spend time with Singto, can he?
"I thought you're here to have tea with Serra."
He immediately shook his head. Tea with Serra was merely a front to see his fiancé even if it's just a few seconds glimpse. "I want to see you."
As surprised as he was at his bold words, the prince was no better. It was as if Singto couldn't believe what he just heard.
"I'm sorry. I think I misheard what you said."
Fighting off his shyness, Krist boldly said; "Let's talk." Tell me how I can make you like me. "Let's find a few common grounds to make this work."
A smile finally appeared on Singto's face which made his breath hitch in his throat.
How could the older male be so goddamn gorgeous?!
"Have you tried strawberry milk before?"
Strawberry. . .what?
Krist shook his head. He had never hear about such a thing before. "What's that?"
Instead of answering him, Singto stood from his seat and went to the personal refrigerator situated near a bookshelf. Two bottles containing pink and brown liquids along with dried berries were brought to him.
"This one is for you." His fiancé handed him the bottle with pink liquid. "This is coffee so it's mine."
He rolled his eyes at the coffee addiction of the older male. Krist frowned at the pink bottle given to him. Why does it look so pink and girly?
"Give it to me."
At Singto's words, he dumbly handed the drink. Twisting the cap, the older male opened the bottle effortlessly and handed it to him. Flattered beyond compare for having his fiancé do a meager task for him for the first time, Krist lowered his head and took a sip of the pink drink.
"Mmmmnnn. . .. So good!"
The older male beside him chuckled.
"Where did you get this?" His eyes twinkled as he sought for answers about the delicious drink in his hand.
Still chuckling, Singto wiped a thumb on his lips. "That's Pink Milk. If you'll go around the city, you'll see it's being offered in various stores. It's very popular among commoners these days. Same with my brown coffee."
Krist couldn't stop himself from taking another sip.
It tastes too fucking good!
"Try these dried berries. They are sweet but they contain no preservatives and sugar unlike your usual candy."
He didn't move to get a berry or two from the jar. "Feed me."
Having no previous lighthearted interaction with his fiancé, Singto froze for a couple of seconds before his hands mechanically moved and fed Krist. His fingers trembled when they touched the softness of the other's lips.
This is not a dream, right?
"It's yummy!"
The childish giggle that followed the younger male's praise for the food brought a smile on his lips. This Krist who joined him in his office is exactly like the beauty who sleeps in his bed.
"I'm a picky eater so I don't like anything too greasy. I eat vegetables but I prefer fruits."
I know. Krist inwardly sighed. He was such a stalker that he did an extensive research about Singto's likes and dislikes before meeting this fiancé of his.
"I've noticed that you like your meat too much. You barely touched your greens." Singto continued.
Feigning ignorance, Krist blinked his eyes innocently. "I don't know what you mean."
"Oho!
"I'm not guilty of anything!"
"Spoken like an actual criminal."
"Singto!"
The older male laughed as Krist hit his chest like a petulant child. "Don't laugh!"
Still laughing, he caught his fiancés hands as they move about to hit him. In the struggle, Krist's back fell on the couch and Singto followed suit. This brought their faces close to each other.
He heard the younger male's heart race a thousand beats per minute as he lay immobile beneath Singto. In that moment, his brain malfunctioned and no thought came to mind.
Their breaths mingled. Two pairs of eyes refused to look away from each other. A mere centimeter and Singto would be able to taste his fiancé's sweet lips. Just a centimeter.
His gaze lowered to the pink softness and he subconsciously licked his lips. He knew exactly how they taste.
Strawberries.
"Sing. . . to." Krist breathed.
Before any of them could think rationally, Singto bridged the distance. Round brown eyes widened even further when he nipped Krist's lower lip. After a few nibble here and there, the younger male closed his eyes and moaned.
Taking this as permission, he went ahead and slipped his tongue inside the welcoming cavern. Their breathing became erratic. Krist's arms found their way on his back as he all but devoured the pliant mouth beneath his.
Singto was feeling up his fiancé when he heard something crash somewhere near him.
Surprised, both males jolted and looked at the doorframe where the noise came from.
Kao gapped at them. Beside the stunned male was his sister whose hands were on her lips as if she could not get over her shock. As for the person who made the noise by dropping a tray of coffee, Tay was chuckling.
"I think we should return after you're done. Please call for us when we are already wel-" His cousin clears his throat. "-come."
With that, the unwelcome guests closed his office's door.
Disgruntled, Singto got up. "I'm sorry about that."
Krist placed both palms on his face. "We should have locked the door."
The older male noticed the red ears as well as his fiancé's efforts to hide his flushed face from him. "Don't tell me. . . Are you shy?"
Red faced, the younger male threw him a punch. "Shut it!"
Singto chuckled. Who would have thought Krist could be so adorable when embarrassed?
"Don't laugh! You were seen too!"
"You're my fiancé. There's nothing wrong if I kiss you ten times a day or if anyone sees me kissing you."
"Still!"
I wonder how he'd react if I tell him we've done more than just kissing?
"I. . . I think we should do this more." Eyes coyly peeping at him, his fiancé peeked at him like a turtle getting out of his shell. "Let's kiss some more."
