Singto closed his eyes as he listened to Krist's silent breathing in his arms. Underneath the indigo sky, his fiancé nestled into his embrace. Such intimacy after a rough rumble beneath the sheets was what he looked forward to each time the younger male would have his nightly visit.
If only this happens in the morning as well.
The naked male sitting between his thighs nestled deeper in his arms. "Let's stay like this."
"Hmmmnn." He whispered noncommittally.
"This is nice."
Succumbing to his infatuated heart, Singto buried his face on Krist's neck. He also wants to stay like this with the younger male. If it's just him, he'd lock his room and keep Krist with him. Regardless of the other's feelings.
"You're not very talkative, Singto. Don't you like being with me?"
The arms caging his fiancé to his chest tightened. "You know I do."
"I need to beg you for a kiss every time I come by. You don't visit me in my room and I need to be very initiative if I want something from you." Singto can hear the pout on Krist's voice. "You don't like me as much as I like you."
On the chaise lounge they was sitting on, Singto weakly laid his back. The situation with his Krist is stressing him out. Slowly, he's getting suffocated with this fiancé of his who'd prefer his sister in the morning and who'd confess the 'like' he feels for him at night.
"The like you feel and my like are two different things." He finally said.
"How so?"
"You're here for sex. In the morning, you'd forget how much you like me. On the other hand, my like for you stays and strengthens each day."
From his position between Singto's thighs, Krist suddenly faced the prince. "I really like you, Sing. I'm just shy."
Would it be too bad to believe the empty words of a sexsomniac having an attack?
"Okay."
The faster he'd agree to Krist, the sooner this pointless conversation would be over.
"I love you."
Fuck.
"I love you so much, Sing. Let's get married soon and spend our nights under the moonlight like this."
To hide the threatening tears in his eyes, he took the younger male's lips. Such words would have made him the happiest man alive if his fiancé said it during day time, when he's fully conscious. Not like this. Not when he's unaware of what he's saying and who he is with.
"Have you read Room to Room?"
Red faced and slightly breathless, Krist asked back; "Room to Room?"
Singto forced a smile. "It's a BL webtoon about a sexsomniac and a friend who lived together. The patient actually got cured of his disorder after his cause of stress was eliminated. Tell me, Krist, what's making you stressed?"
". ... you."
Surprised, Singto can only dumbly stare at the younger male.
"Is that why you come in my room instead of Serra's?"
His fiancé vehemently shook his head. "I told you, I love you. That's why I'm here. She's your sister and a good friend of mine-Serra got nothing to do with us."
Again. . Lies.
"Singto." Krist kissed him on his chin. "I love you."
The younger male would forget everything in the morning. For the next few days, he'd visit to see Serra with only a brief nod on his way. Then, he'd turn up in his room after the family dinner exactly six days from now and sweet talk him before, during, and after sex.
Silently lamenting in his heart, the prince had no choice but to concede and confess his affection. "I love you too."
The younger male would forget about it on the morning anyway.
"Lately I've noticed that the gongs (top) fall in love first compared to the shous (bottom." Kao suddenly opened up. "Since Krist is the top, maybe he is in love with Singto."
Tay touched his chin. "I think that's not the case for Singto who's definitely the shou. Neither he nor Krist love each other."
"But both the queen and Auntie Driene say that Krist is in love with Singto. That's the reason why they are engaged with each other despite Serra's feelings for Krist."
Listening to Kao repeat the older females' words, Singto felt his body weakening.
"How they can say such lies to get a real-life bl loveteam is beyond me." Tay placed his cup of coffee on the table. "It would be impossible for them not to see the two flirt around like teenagers all the time. You're his fiancé but while you're hold up in this office working, he's out there with your sister. Even a blind mouse could sense that somethings definitely wrong."
Singto sighed at the truth in his cousin's words.
"Leave them be." The ache in his chest may be too much for him to remain stoic but he knew how different Krist's feelings- if he can call them that- for him compared to his. "Give then what they want."
"What about what you want? Singto this enga-"
"Kao. It was just last week that I tried to talk it out. Tonight's dinner will be another-"
". . . grueling shit that you should not be experiencing. Seriously!" Kao inserted. "If Krist likes Serra, he should be man enough to say it."
He does. In each chance he gets.
Hands fisted, Singto said in a low voice; "He does. You have no idea how many times he had expressed how he'd prefer any women over me."
The two must have heard the undisguised bitterness in his voice. He did try to hide it but he failed to do so. How could he when saying it not only stung his pride but also the fucking organ in his rib cage?
Tay awkwardly coughed. "We should head out to the dining room. They should be there anytime soon."
Like the usual pre-dinner preparation, the two female best friends fussed around and took a 'commemorative' photo of their engaged children. Everything seemed to be like they always were until the near end of the dinner.
Serra, who was sitting across from Singto cleared her throat. "Umm." She started a bit nervously. "I'm planning to buy some dresses in the capital tomorrow. Would it be alright if I take Krist with me?"
He fought off the satirical smile itching to show in his lips. She wants to take Krist, his fiancé, out. Not just to any place but to the capital where people can spot them out together. Singto wanted to scream at her, to say mean things she should hear from him and make her realize how slighted he had been with her attitude. But, he held himself back.
When no one responded for more than a minute, Serra broke the silence. "It wouldn't be the whole day and I'm sure Krist wouldn't mind going with me. There's a new shop we can try to-"
"Krist is engaged to Singto." Aunt Driene finally said. "It wouldn't be good for Singto's reputation as the prince my son is engaged to if you're seen together."
The princess laughed a bit. "That's common knowledge auntie. If he's not engaged to Singto, I'd be enga-"
"Serra!" The queen raised her voice.
"I only want to go out with a friend. Why is that so bad?!"
"Mother, auntie, Serra and I will only go to a couple of stores and we'll be back in a jiffy. We're friends- who'll be family soon. I'm sure Singto wouldn't mind if I accompany his sister for a harmless day out." Beside him, Krist tried to help Singto's older sister which irked the latter more.
Why can't his fiancé pause for awhile and think about him before he jumps in and acts like a hero for Serra.
Losing his appetite, Singto placed his napkin on the table and stood up.
"Singto, dinner isn't over yet." The king reminded his son.
"I've heard enough." He said between clenched teeth. "I'm not staying to be more humiliated than I already am."
As if Krist finally realized what he did wrong, the other male tried to say something but Singto wouldn't hear any of it. He's tired of the lies he hear every time he'd welcome the younger male to his room. More so of the constant rebuke he'd receive from his fiance who'd always, always choose Serra over him. Give his poor self a break, okay?!
"I don't care anymore."
With that being said in an emotionless voice, he left the dining room.
Thanks for all the works
