At the age of seven, the crown prince was already a looker. When Krist first saw a picture of him, he developed his first crush right away.
With his finger pointing at the television, he straightforwardly told his mother that he wanted the prince.
He wanted Singto.
His mother was surprised for a second but smiled right after. It was as if she wasn't surprised about her son's sexual preferences.
A few days later, Krist was brought out by his mother to play with her best friend and her son. Little did he know he'd be meeting his crush for the first time.
In the flowery pink dress and pigtails his mother loves to make him wear, he met the prince and the latter became his first love.
His only love.
"I'm Singto." His prince introduced himself with a bow.
Stuttering like the idiot he was, he also bowed and hid behind his mother who chuckled. In his childish mind, the older male was perfection while he looked like a clown in his female clothing. Tears were slowly filling up his eyes when his prince made his way to him and gave him a friendly smile.
Mesmerized, Krist gawked at his first love. Each cell in his body was electrified when Singto held his hand and guided him away. He didn't even notice how the older male led him away. He only felt the warmth of his hand on his.
That afternoon, he lived a dream.
Singto was perfect.
His prince was perfect for him!
With this is mind, the little love struck boy tightly held his crush's hands. Eyes sparkling in the awestruck idea that suddenly occurred to him, he looked at his prince with anticipation. "I like you!"
The women who heard the sudden confession looked at each other in surprise.
Eyes closed in nervousness, Krist continued. "Let's get married when we grow up, okay?! I'll be Singto's bride, okay?!"
His heart was beating so fast. His young mind didn't know what rejection was but he was afraid his prince wouldn't want him. That maybe he doesn't like Krist.
"Okay!" The prince smiled before placing a kiss on Krist's pink and tender cheek. "I'll be your groom."
With just a white shirt and boxers, Krist felt as insecure as he was as a child in the presence of his prince. All his courage were drained by that last stunt he pulled. If Singto turns him down this second, he'd be nothing but a-
"I thought you were forced in all this." Singto quietly said. "I thought it was Serra you wanted and that you were only forced to marry me since it was our mothers who were pushing for us to be together."
Biting his lower lip, he nodded his head. Krist knew that he instigated the misunderstanding at some point. Who could blame him when he was slightly pissed at Singto for not remembering him.
"You spent most of your time with my sister and I believed-"
"She was only a friend!"
"I. . .misunderstood."
Nervous as fuck, he coyly looked at Singto. "So. . .. are we okay? You didn't really believe the whole pregnancy thing, right?"
The older male raised a brow. "I think you missed to tell me about something else."
When he furrowed his brows, the other folded his arms on his chest. "Sexsomnia? Really?"
Understanding dawned on him. Flushed at his own shamelessness and guilt, he looked away with red cheeks. "I was really diagnosed with-"
"Hmmmnn."
"It was only when I woke up in your bed that I started making use of it as an excuse. I swear I wasn't lying to you the entire time! It was a stupidly brilliant idea that I can make use of my cured disorder so get closer to you. If you weren't such a boring log, I wouldn't have taken matters into my own hands and seduce you!"
"So. .. when did it start?"
Guilty as hell, Krist couldn't look at his prince. "The night you showed me the wedding rings you've prepared."
"That long?!"
"I was desperate! There was no othe-"
Singto sighed. Then, he gently patted Krist's head a if pacifying the younger male. "I know. You did good."
At that, tears brimmed in Krist's eyes and he hugged his long time unrequited love as he sobbed his fears away. The older male wrapped his arms protectively around the other and kissed the top of his head repeatedly while whispering short promises that they'll make this work.
That everything will be okay.
A few minutes later, Krist found himself propped up on Singto's bed while the other male was telling him about his weird adventures with Pete and Kao. It was as if the older male simply went on a trip with his friends and they never separated. His heart soared. He had been longing for this to happen for more than half his life. Such intimacy. . .
"Why are you crying again?" A rough thumb rubbed his tears away.
He shook his head. "I can't believe we're together now. I've dreamed for this for along time. I can't beli-"
Singto stooped down and kissed his lips-cutting off his words. "We'll make this work. There are a lot of things I still need to work on. There's the crown, Serra, the royal subjects and even our parents. At some point, I'm sure we'll get tired but we'll get through everything together."
Again, Krist nodded his head. "I'm sorry about Serra. I didn't know my actions were adding more to your problems. I swear I only saw her as a friend or an older sister that I can share my woes to."
"I know that now." The older male lowly cursed. "I can't believe I've been wasting so much time getting jealous with my own sister."
Nuzzling his nose against his prince, he whispered; "I love you."
Bombarded with meetings after meetings, Serra could feel her skin turning dry and unhealthy-exactly how she feels inside. With her assistant obediently closing the door of her office, the crown princess flung herself harshly on the couch.
She never knew official royal meetings could be so stressful!
"I'll get you a cup of tea, Your Highness."
Eyes close, Serra nodded her head. Tea is a good idea. She'd drown her stress with tea while going over the documents about the bullet train proposal she didn't know shit about.
Argh! Krist should've been the one dealing with this!
Contrary to how she imagined it to be, Serra was left to manage and deal with everything without her parents help nor her fiancé's. The said betrothed even refused to acknowledge her as his bride. Still, the crown princess wasn't worried. For the past few months that she had been making a mess of her royal duties, she was instantly forgiven and her subjects were so lenient with her it felt like she was meant to do this!
She is meant for this!
If only Krist could see her now and go back to her.
In the middle of daydreaming about her blissful days of tea parties and grandiose balls, Serra looked outside her brother's- now hers- office and found two familiar males standing at the garden with their back to her. The cup of tea in her hand fell down with a loud thud when she saw the shorter of the two tilt his head up and kiss the other.
What the-
All silent curses she could think about halted when her brother held the back of her fiancé's head and kissed him deeply.
"What the fuck?!"
